A t-shirt graphic is not a picture of a t-shirt. It is a flat artwork with a limited palette, made to be printed on fabric — and the mock-up on a model is a second, separate image.
Printing is what constrains the art. Screen printing wants few flat colours and hard edges; a photographic gradient that looks great on screen becomes a muddy patch on cotton. So ask for a limited palette — three or four colours — bold shapes and clean edges, on a plain background you can cut from. Then, once the graphic is right, generate the mock-up separately: the shirt, the fabric, the person wearing it.

How to do it

Generate the artwork alone, flat, on a plain background. Say "limited palette, bold shapes, clean edges, screen print style".

Keep text out of it. Image models still mangle lettering — set your words in any text tool afterwards.

Then generate the mock-up: upload or describe the shirt, and ask for the design placed on the chest with the fabric folds following it.

- Can it write the slogan on the shirt?
- Not reliably — no image model sets type properly yet. Generate the graphic, then add the words yourself.
- Is it print ready?
- Generate at the largest quality tier and you have the pixels for a chest print. Your printer will want a specific format, which is a conversion, not a regeneration.
- Can I sell the shirts?
- Yes, what you generate is yours commercially.
